Kegnotes is editorial. Not a store. We write plainly about home kegerator ownership: the maintenance, the buying decisions, the troubleshooting calls we'd otherwise make at 11pm before a party.

Who writes it

Daniel Stevens. Founder of DrinkCountr, a drink-tracking app used by home bar hosts across the US, UK, and Australia. Daniel doesn't own a kegerator himself; the notes here draw on years of conversations with hundreds of customers who do.

One of those customers is Alex, a long-time DrinkCountr user with a home bar in the UK. Alex's setup is the recurring case study throughout these notes: his foamy beer mysteries, his CO2 leak in the depths of last winter, his eventual switch from a starter kegerator to a Perlick-faucet build.
